Postural Control Analysis Using Image Processing and Electromyography
Polytech Annecy-Chambéry · May 2025 · Team of 2
Developed a system to evaluate human postural stability by tracking micromovements of the leg that maintain stationary balance.
Computer Vision: Used OpenCV and ArUco markers for 3D pose estimation of ankle, knee, and hip joints; tracked translation and orientation in real time.
Signal Processing & EMG: Collected muscle activation data via surface EMG sensors connected to an Arduino Due with 12-bit ADC; applied filtering algorithms for clean signals.
Software & Integration: Built a PyQt5 GUI to visualize joint positions and EMG signals; synchronized camera and EMG data streams for accurate measurement.
Hardware & Instrumentation: Configured EMG electrodes, amplification circuit, and microcontroller for precise data acquisition and signal clarity.

Piano Hand Assistance System for Extended Reach
Lebanese American University · December 2023 · Team of 4
Designed and built PHASER: a collaborative robotic system that assists a human pianist by playing the left-hand parts in real time.
Programming & Software: Python, Git/GitHub (Repository), Tkinter GUI, MIDI data parsing, and real-time control on a Raspberry Pi.
Hardware & Embedded Systems: Controlled a linear NEMA 17 rail, 5 servo motors for finger rotation, and 5 solenoids for key pressing; integrated a microphone for audio feedback.
Mechatronics & Prototyping: 3D-printed and assembled a five-fingered robotic hand; integrated mechanical, electrical, and software components into a functional system.
System Design & Control Logic: Implemented look-ahead logic for synchronized play and calculated hand translations to maintain tempo.
Experience
An overview of the roles that shaped my technical and interpersonal skills.

Vamec · Mechanical Design Engineer · Full-time
February 2024 – July 2024 · Lebanon
At Vamec SARL, a company specializing in stainless-steel machinery for the food and pharmaceutical industries, I worked on the design and optimization of mechanical and mechatronic systems. My role combined hands-on engineering, collaboration, and process improvement across design, manufacturing, and documentation.
I designed and modeled custom components and sheet metal parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, often preparing laser-cutting files in AutoCAD and providing detailed CAD drawings to technicians while explaining manufacturing steps. I collaborated closely with fellow engineers, the production team, and the accounting department to align design requirements with technical and budgetary constraints.
I also suggested the standardization of frequently used parts, creating parametric SolidWorks models driven by equations to streamline future designs. Beyond design, I gained exposure to PCB programming and troubleshooting, learning from technicians how machine control systems were configured and debugged.
I also took charge of reorganizing and archiving the company’s CAD database, standardizing naming conventions and file structures to improve accessibility and version tracking.
This experience strengthened my mechanical design skills and taught me the value of cross-disciplinary teamwork in an industrial setting.
Luxeed Robotics · Mechanical Design Engineer · Internship
June 2022 – September 2022 · Lebanon
At Luxeed Robotics, I contributed to the design of an intelligent agricultural robot that detects and eliminates weeds using precision laser technology and AI. My work focused on the mechanical design and locomotion systems, including towing, braking, suspension, and welding. I also conducted research to ensure compliance with EU standards and developed protective enclosures to shield the robot from environmental factors such as sunlight, water, and dust.
Mercedes-Benz, T. Gargour & Fils · Automotive Technician · Internship
June 2023 – July 2023 · Lebanon
At Mercedes-Benz, T. Gargour & Fils, I gained hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and maintenance across both mechanical and electrical systems. I assisted in performing comprehensive car servicing operations, including brake pad replacement, oil and filter changes, battery and sensor replacements, and recall-related repairs. I developed a solid understanding of diagnostic tools and procedures used to identify and resolve system faults, while observing the rigorous standards of precision and quality associated with Mercedes-Benz engineering.
Acadomia · Private Tutor · Part-time
November 2024 – Present · France
At Acadomia, I provide one-on-one tutoring in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English to students from primary school to university level. Managing these sessions alongside my master’s studies has strengthened my independence, self-discipline, and time management skills. The role also honed my communication and adaptability, as I tailor explanations to each student’s needs and learning style. Consistently receiving positive feedback from parents and students reflects the impact of my guidance and commitment to fostering understanding and confidence in my students.
Geek Express · Coding Instructor · Part-time
May 2021 – May 2024 · Lebanon
At Geek Express, I guided children and young adults in learning programming languages including Python, Swift, Java, and JavaScript, as well as block-based coding for beginners. Beyond coding, I facilitated hands-on workshops, introducing students to electronics, servos, and tinkering projects to spark curiosity and creativity. This role strengthened my communication, mentorship, and adaptability skills while fostering a passion for teaching and technical exploration.
